Frank Field was a decent, moral, and thoughtful man. He was a great parliamentarian - he made our politics better and raised the level of national debate in this country.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family today.

I’ve written to Norfolk County Council about the amount of road signage being left dumped and not cleared up on our verges. Total waste of taxpayers money.

Many thanks to Heather Harrison and Paul Bailey who alerted me to this. They do incredible work cleaning up so much litter and debris.

That’s it. TCS London Marathon complete. Happy with 4.37.46. Now I’ve got to get some rest and recover in enough time to run the Norfolk Marathon next weekend and break that £100,000 raised for local charities. Feeling ok, few blisters. See how the legs are in the morning. 🏃‍♂️💪

The G7 stands united with Ukraine and in clear agreement that we must continue to work on ways to make Russia pay for their horrific war.

Good to recognise UK/US action on metal sanctions to that end - stemming a key source of revenue for Putin’s war machine.

Anna is in the UK and is friends with the team we took 122 generators to last year.

As this war rages on, and disappears from our front pages, it astonishes me just how kind, generous and thoughtful Ukrainians are to us

Huge thanks to Chris Sutton for raising with me that former professional footballers are four times more likely to die of CTE Dementia than the wider population due to repeated head impacts. Privilege to mention him in Parliament and the work he has been championing on it.
