3/3 Two years ago one of our Foundation groups started - all 11 having acquired #aphasia within the last 3 years.
They now proceed together as a group to explore and have #supported #conversations around 'moving on' with aphasia following a co-designed Dyscover Extend programme.

2/3 #Beneficiaires transitioning groups (Foundation-Extend) feel understood and supported. Friendships have been formed within the group and Members report an increased confidence in their ability to communicate #aphasia

1/3 One of our Foundation Groups will be transitioning to an Extend Group. Feedback (using #aphasia friendly & accessible forms) includes: it has been helpful to learn more about aphasia, meet other people with aphasia and have the opportunity to practice #conversations

We completed our third term of #post #stroke #gymnastics !
Maggie said 'she felt it has helped her in many unexpected ways including walking, balance & her general agility’.
Sarah added that she ‘had felt fitter and stronger whilst on holiday recently’ #aphasia #support
