This is a pretty astonishing takedown. I followed a lot of the links Erin posted in support of her fact-check, and the evidence is a pretty damning indictment of the NYT journalistic integrity. Nice work Erin. New subscriber.

Truth bomb dropped by Sports Journalist. If ppl are bothered by Taylor Swift being shown for 25 seconds during the Chiefs game, maybe the problem isn't Swift or the NFL coverage. Maybe the problem is those ppl are massive snowflakes.

Trump bragged about this behavior in the Art of the Deal. So, this is no fabrication. This is a feature of the way Trump did business. He used the courts and SLAAP lawsuits to refuse to pay people, who had signifcantly less money than he did and he FUCKED THEM OVER. That's Trump!

Important. Some MAGA family are racist, trans/homophobic. They sought allies who agree w/their views. When ppl closest to you hostile to who you are, who you love, it can make life intolerable. You need to protect yrself from those most likely to harm you, even if family.

1. A new bill in Florida could destroy all LGBTQ+ organizations in the state, and expand 'Don't Say Gay' into many workplaces.

It also protects 'deeply held biology based beliefs' and mandates 'biological' pronouns as state policy.

Nate has been wrong abt a lot of things lately, inc his poor predictions re 2022, but his regression analysis on COVID checks out here. It's not partisanship, per se, influencing Covid deaths, but vax refusal rates and they tilt heavily toward GOP.
