Incredible that, all these years on, Rees-Mogg is still conflating issues of trade terms, regulation, and border security - and still doesn't understand what Brexit actually means for those things, apparently.

Always shocked when you speak at someone else’s conference - for free & you pay your own expenses - & before the event you are deluged with emails about logistics, WiFi codes, arrival times, twitter handles, slide size etc & then once it’s over you don’t even get a thank you.

This is interesting because the basic arguement matches a recent Telegraph opinion piece - and it’s both correct and naive. It’s correct because the only way Brexit could have worked economically speaking was to use it to deregulate, lower business taxes, shrink the state etc.…
