It's really common to come across people in tech, natural and computational science, etc. who are mad at colleagues in other disciplines for not grading rigorously, but who are silent when college labor practices explicitly turn those disciplines into customer service depts.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but a high failure rate is not a flex and hazing isn’t cool. ⬇️

Last night, I ran into a student who took my Lit and Environment course as an option last year (he's not an English major), and he said my course got him 'back into reading again.' It truly made my day.
