If Deaf people are able to translate sign language into written text (eg BSL into English) then why can’t hearing people take the time to literally type what they say?

Update: The Fourteas has responded, basically mocking my Jewish friends for not eating non-Kosher meat as 'seeking refuge behind imaginative cultural or religious reasons'.

All they wanted was to swap a chicken sandwich for cucumber, or to just leave it off the plate altogether

Horrid end to the school year for a load of my students - a positive Covid test sent the year 6 bubble off into isolation... Then, as the morning wore on, all the kids at school started coming down with the chicken pox. Poor kids can't catch a break. Thank God I was WFH today.

It is with regret that I must announce that I’ll be skipping work on Monday, because Adam insists I must “adjust [my] schedule” to see a subtitled version of a film rather than, y’know, ask cinemas to put them at more reasonable times, like the weekend? #BoredOfAudism
