Went to see Stranger Things last night. Powerful performances. Specifically from Louis McCartney as Henry. Wouldn’t say you get much more from it in terms of background, but it’s an excellent production!

I genuinely believe that the “you have to hook readers in the first five pages or they’ll stop reading...”

Actually means:

“You have to hook editors in the first five pages because they’ve got six million books to read this week and they don’t have more time than that.”

Does anybody else find their fingernails follow a short - short - short - IMPOSSIBLY LONG growth pattern..?
I swear it happens overnight 😅
