The U.K. Government are hiding long covid.

They stopped reporting the numbers of people with long covid in March 2023 when 1.9M were suffering inc. 62,000 children.

But we know in the US, for example, the problem is getting worse.

Why aren’t politicians calling this out?

In February 2024, science writer Ed Yong hosted a new birding club, just for #COVID long-haulers. He hopes to offer long-haulers community and an accessible way to enjoy nature.

The 2nd floor of Afrosiyob Museum in Samarkand has a number of bone objects including these fragments I believe to be knife handles. Here they are side by side by replicas showing how they might have looked in the 8th Century.

Somsa / samsa / sambusag are baked meat pastries. The modern form is typically triangular, but in early medieval times they were semi circular and made with a layered pastry. I used lamb shoulder for the filling
