This is an absolute garbage decision, but I can’t say I’m surprised. Forget the conflicting & unbelievable testimony given by officers at the trial. Forget the gamesmanship & efforts to block public access to the trial. You only need to watch the video to know how wrong this is.

Everyone who followed this case saw the NYPD’s delays, deception and cowardly coverups. Long after Mayor Eric Adams is gone, taxpayers will likely pay millions to the heartbroken family he refused to meet with.

On good cause eviction, one source tells me concessions include:
- exemption for rents 200% of fair market rent
- 30 yr exemption for new construction
- owner-occupied buildings of 8 units or less, and those landlords with a 10 unit portfolio exempt
- opt-in for municipalities

NYPD Commissioner Caban determines that the cops who shot Kawasaki Trawick in his kitchen after forcing their way into his home, freaking out that he had a knife while cooking, then leaving him to die, “acted within the law for their actions” 5 years after they killed him.
