Just had an email from Royal Court literary dept to say they couldn't take the play forward. However it was a supportive, encouraging and generous email with feedback. If only all theatres could be so considered and just straight out kind to writers in these tough times.

The last four months of coping with in-laws with dementia and Alzheimers that hit seemingly out of the blue and now rampaging seemingly unchecked. It's shocking and awful and exhausting. I am so sorry for their two sons holding it all.

Israel has now killed:

- 2 of his sons

- His wife

- His Daughter

- His grandson

May God ease his pain and punish those responsible.
