Funny Irish Farmers Journal doesn't mention EFI at all. The Dept of Transport had no clue until we informed them, and the Dept of Agriculture was quite happy to let the shipment go ahead, despite being told by us weeks ago... It's also funny that the IFJ published an article last week…
For many years now we have been sending Charlie McConalogue and his predecessor evidence of the suffering inherent in the live export industry. We will soon be handing over this petition.

This is totally misleading consumers and the excuse given by the industry is laughable.

We were made a promise. What will MEP candidates do to ensure that promise is honoured? That is an important question to ask. No animal should be in a cage! Make your vote count! 🐷🐔🐰🐮

Yes we do! Ask your local candidates if they would support a ban on cages. Make your vote count!

We recently wrote to Charlie McConalogue, along with Stena Line UKIE & Irish Ferries expressing our concerns that the current practice of exporting unweaned calves from Ireland to France on long sea journeys with no food is in breach of EU law. #BanLiveExports agriland.ie/farming-news/2…
Irish Farmers' Association calling for public money to be used to drive up production & slash essential environmental regulation while saying they want CAP to support family farms, when small & marginal farms benefit the most from Agri-env schemes. Farming cant afford to go backwards.
It's not just inhumane it's barbaric. What kind of sick world do we live in where it's acceptable to throw day old chicks into a grinder. Ask your EU candidates if they agree with this practice or would support a ban. Make your vote count!

Protein diversification, what does it mean?
- More plant-based food, that would also benefit farmers
- Incentives through the CAP
- Enabling food environments
- Insects: a bad solution
- Science-based discussions about cultivated meat
