It was an absolute pleasure to work with you West Ham United Foundation We together proved how effectively Primary Care Networks can work with fabulous voluntary sector organisations such as yours to tackle difficult issues in our communities such as Knife Crime. Shame the funding ceased
GPs most 'discontented' among UK doctors, GMC survey finds - Pulse Today- More than a fifth of GPs are very or fairly likely to move abroad says the GMC survey. England has to get much better at valuing & retaining Drs before we lose our dwindling numbers pulsetoday.co.uk/news/workforce…
Great points here (as expected!) by Jacob Lant “Access is far more nuanced than getting a same day appointment” Great point also about changes in the GP contract needed to help GPs serve the needs of the local populations- there’s never going to be a QOF domain for knife crime!

On the last day of Ramadan, I am so blessed to be able to help provide primary healthcare in a safe environment for my patients. No healthcare facilities anywhere in the world should be attacked during conflict. #AlShifahospital #Prayforpeace
“Unless extra capacity into the NHS is also added, we risk hard wiring inequality into the NHS” insightful from Sally Gainsbury
How sexism affects female GPs' career progression:Pulse Today-It’s still different for women- Only 2/5th of women GPs are partners compared to 2/3 of men.Not everyone wants partnership but it should be a choice. And we don’t all want to do women’s health! pulsetoday.co.uk/analysis/speci…
Amazing that we have more than 10 organisations who are involved with facilitating Eid prayers outdoors for the 4th year in a row. Some organisations are doing it for the first time.
