As we tackle the ongoing drought the Jamaica Bauxite Mining Ltd has procured a 5000 gallon water truck that will be used to provide water for our farmers in St. Ann. We are using our synergies to strengthen our response mechanisms #MiningMatters

Our Fishers will also use the teachings to catch different species of fish which are in high demand in especially our tourism sector like Marlin, Swordfish, Mahi Mahi. The Great news is that the fishers were exceptional during training. #NewFaceOfFood 3/3

The artisanal fishers training is in an effort to equip our fishers with the skills needed to still pursue their livelihood especially as we rebuild our near shore fishing stock. Vhf radios, gps equipment and other tools of trade were provided to some participants 2/3
