@fmarked This piece is good on postwar Australian proposals to deal with inflation structurally by clearing bottlenecks and industrial planning, and why this ultimately faded away as a strategy ppesydney.net/content/upload…

This is a very important issue. Problem gambling prevalence surveys are highly problematic and potentially harmful, as @fmarked & Martin Young have articulated so well, time and again e.g. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.11…

@fmarked Peter Brent Ron Levy There are some really great programs starting up across the country, where students - not just law - are working for credit & volunteering in community education for the Voice and it will include this type of thing I believe

Wendy Bacon vesna capel @fmarked kristin (she/her) Linda Burney MP The order absolutely is clear. The government is moving on those issues. Treaty will take a long time. It won’t be overnight & the reforms delivered by a Voice are key to the success of future treaty or treaties.

Simon Banks Kevin Bonham @fmarked The Australian Peter Dutton 48% of that states population lives in Brisbane. Of that, around half would neatly fit into the expected Yes vote demographic.

The Yes campaign needs to ignore QLD and focus on other states. It can win by doing that.

@fmarked When I was 7, I impersonated a Japanese WW2 soldier in a back yard war game with my 2 younger brothers. I had the cap & samurai sword. Little did I know this aberrant behaviour would cost me any chance of become PM. 😭

@fmarked @djrobstep I feel like the lockable front is key. People need to be able to leave stuff in their bike storage safely while running errands

@djrobstep @fmarked Better yet, we could just have mineral wealth currently being extracted for a song (and some political donations to Lib/Lab/Nats) be filling up a future fund to share the wealth with future generations rather than just wnabling boomers to cruise to their graves without fair tax
