Almost 60 Opelika varsity football players participated in the field day activities at Morris Avenue and Northside schools today. Thank you Coach Powell, Mr. Mason, Coach Larsen, and Mrs. Poteet for allowing our guys to volunteer and help with all activities.

Each year, the OPD organizes the COPS ON TOP fundraiser at the local Kroger to help raise money and awareness for Lee County Special Olympics. Our Opelika varsity football players love serving and helping them raise money each year.

The Opelika Varsity Football team participated in the community wide SERVE DAY this past Saturday. Several student athletes served as a “Buddy” at the Miracle League baseball games. Others chose to spend their day preparing the grounds at Story Book Farms for their Derby Day.
