: Remember the $44 million settlement Walgreens agreed to pay those who took Theranos blood tests?

People are telling me they're getting checks.

One woman, wrongly told that she had a disease (leading to many panicked doctor visits), just got her settlement:

$10.

Not a joke, nearly every detail is wrong to one extent or another. It did not take long to figure this out — in part because the foundations identified in the Politico piece all disclose their grant recipients online

I took a close look at Politico’s story on how Dem donors are funding the pro-Palestine protests against Joe Biden.

I found many inaccuracies — and some missed details that would support the premise. The Gates Foundation says they asked for a correction rollingstone.com/politics/polit…

Americans have basically been mad about three main areas of inflation for the past 4 years: cost of gas, food, and housing.

DoJ and FTC have uncovered massive conspiracies to fix prices in each of these sectors. Lawsuits are working their way through courts now.

There has been a robust 24/7 protest outside Tony Blinken’s house for months. It’s fascinating it has gotten *zero* coverage.

On this fateful day in 1970 US army troops killed 4 unarmed students at Kent State in Ohio protesting the Vietnam War. University presidents who today are using militarized police to arrest students protesting Israel's brutality in Gaza need to reflect on this.

Shafik offers no vision of what a university is, or what one should be. She talks about her time at the IMF and says Columbia 'can be an exemplar for a better world' and she wants 'to rebuild community.' She sounds like a banker reciting a corporate PR statement.

This country has arrested (at least) 2,300+ of it's own citizens so far on behalf of a foreign government.
