There is a lot of misinformation that safer supply/prescribed alternatives to toxic street drugs is results in diversion. Diversion can happen, even with safeguards in place for opioid prescribing by healthcare providers. But the VAST MAJORITY of opioid Rx are NOT safe supply.

It has been a years long struggle to recover from being incarcerated, impoverished, overdosed, over-policed, under-employed and shame saturated. The drug war touches every aspect of your existence.

Many more years of recovery ahead.

Don't smoke when ppl are trying to eat. But also: don't blame decriminalization. Possession remains illegal in businesses, playgrounds, schools, etc. However, across BC there is a lack of services from safe injection sties to recovery. 'Evacuating the restaurant' is overkill tho.
