Tomorrow, 05.05 the first solo show from Jan St. Werner of Mouse on Mars curated me opening at KunsthalleBAD an opening programme with brilliant participants as Patricia Reed Gascia Ouzounian marcin pietruszewski on saturday.

and the world has agreed that it’s ok for Palestinians to be the test subjects of deadly scientific research. We condemn the Nazis for similar crimes: deadly scientific research on human subjects. Yet we openly permit Israel to commit such crimes and even fund it in the billions.

We rightly condemn the cruel medical experiments carried out by the Nazi regime. Yet we barely speak about how Gaza is a testing-grounds for numerous military technologies. What exactly is the difference between these deadly forms of experimentation on captive human populations?

Necrocapitalism would be the proper term to describe Israel’s economy. It’s buttressed by foreign investment in military (death-producing) technology; and many local businesses (agriculture, IT, others) depend on dispossession and harm. Necrocapital: death profit; death economy.
