What a fabulous day of spring weather. And there's more to come on Sunday. Enjoy. We've waited a long time for a run of dry, sunny days like these.

I really do think that Timmy Mallett should be given the freedom of Northern Ireland.

His trip around our wee country, and the joy that he's brought to that expedition, has been wonderful to watch.

And finally Timmy you can see some of it in sunshine!

Good morning. It is a fine weekend of spring weather for Northern Ireland. Highs of 15-16 degrees today. Potentially up to 18 celsius in places tomorrow which would make it the warmest day of the year so far. Enjoy!

Grey, dull and rather damp today. Feeling chilly out there today in the north westerly breeze. But it is getting warmer for the weekend.

It might still be blustery... but there's definitely blue skies and sunshine out there. A change for tomorrow but turning drier and warmer for the weekend.

It's a classic day of sunshine and at times really heavy showers. We still have a YELLOW severe weather warning in place for strong winds until 10pm tonight. Tuesday won't be either as wet or as windy as today.

The pupils Ballymena Primary School are prepared for all conditions. It’s been a lovely day talking weather and forecasting with them and the P7 class at Gracehill Primary.

Something of a roller coaster ride in our temperatures through the next few days. Mild and damp tomorrow. Cold and bright for Friday and Saturday. We could see snow on the hills for the end of the week.

Good morning. A feel of spring in the air for today and tomorrow. But you'll be glad of the big coat again by Friday!

After all the grey sky, rain and low cloud yesterday today is a much drier and brighter day. But the rain returns tomorrow. Sunday looks to be the better day of the weekend.

What a miserable day. Grey, dull and wet all morning. Thick cloud and rain stays with us through the afternoon, evening and overnight. Turning brighter through the day on Friday.
