Today, we launched it: the image description reminder!

For those who don't know what happened:

@hbeckpdx built this cool bot that will message you if you tweet an image without a description! 😻👇🏻

Sorry everyone, this account got locked because someone asked it to read an alt text with abusive language in it.
I'm not sure how to deal with this if it happens more frequently, but for now I deleted the according tweets and the bot should be working again.

The issue has been resolved, so the bot should be working again! 🎉

However, it is no longer allowed to @ mention the original poster of the image when they didn't provide alt text. 😬

It will also no longer send 'Sorry, I can't find any images!' to avoid spamming.

Hey everyone, I am currently restricted from answering to tweets.
I've contacted Twitter support and am trying to fix this issue, but until then I won't be able to read alt text for you. :(

twitter finally supports descriptions for gifs! 🎉

Happy to announce that i can finally handle images with a description of more than 280 characters!

For some reason, Twitter tells me it couldn't find any media for most tweets. I'm going to look into this tomorrow.
