the cass review spent 4 years of your tax paying money to come up with bad excuses to ignore 99% of the studies in order to manufacture consent for the things our bigoted politicians had already decided to do.

and trans kids will die because of it.

As the Cass review is published, my thoughts are with the trans community.

Young trans people already face huge barriers to healthcare, including years-long waiting lists.

Their health and wellbeing should not be a front in a toxic culture war.

PSA: slogans don’t help us on dark days like this. Material actions count far more than “trans men are men, trans women are women, non-binary people are valid, trans kids exist”. Buy our books, take us to dinner, talk to people in your life who may be taken in by media nonsense

you simply cannot decide that for one minority, adulthood begins at a different age to everyone else. we already did this with age of consent for gay men, and people fought back and won
