A fifth Royal Air Force airdrop of vital humanitarian aid for Gaza took place today, delivering more than 7 tonnes of food supplies.
In the last week, 🇬🇧 has airdropped over 40 tonnes of supplies amid an international effort to urgently provide food aid for civilians in Gaza.
A further 7 tonnes of essential aid has been dropped into Gaza by the Royal Air Force as part of our sustained effort to provide relief to civilians.
35 tonnes have been delivered on 40 pallets in seven days as we pursue every avenue to alleviate the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
We have delivered 27 tonnes of vital aid to Gaza this week after a third drop by a Royal Air Force A400M earlier today.
The package provides food to help alleviate the humanitarian crisis, and the UK is fully committed to getting more aid into Gaza as quickly as possible.
