Hedgerows - Thanks to David Larkin, who almost single-handed, replanted shrubs and watered, to re-establish hedgerows along all our fence boundaries. So pleased to see them in flower and growing well. Hedgehogs have been seen! Big Thank you! :) London National Park City* Kidbrooke Village London Wildlife Trust

Thanks to all our volunteers today, we have carefully weeded a 30m stretch of Blackwall Lane and cut back foliage. Overhanging canopy remains to shade and cool the path for users. #CommunityEngagement
Lovely morning talking to London In Bloom sharing ideas. After wet start, sun emerged and so did the Day Lilies! New reclaimed brick pathways looking good. Open Fridays 10.30am-3pm.
Did you enjoy the Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice Open Gardens Festival weekend? We did! We met so many lovely people today. They gave so generously to this charity for plants, cakes, home-made ginger beer and elderflower cordial. Great to chat about strength of #community and #gardening
