Praying for peace in the Holy Land.

Almighty God, from whom all thoughts of truth and peace proceed; Kindle, we pray thee, in every heart the true love of peace; and guide with thy pure and peaceable wisdom those who take counsel for the nations of the earth; that in…

1 John 2:5 “The way we may be sure that we know him is to keep
his commandments.
Those who say, 'I know him,' but do not keep his commandments
are liars, and the truth is not in them.
But whoever keeps his word,
the love of God is truly perfected in him.”

Let us know Jesus.

Colorado, we need pro-life Americans to unapologetically stand for life.

You can make a difference.

The power of one can change everything.

Encouraged to see the youth at the Colorado March for Life chant “love them both” ♥️

That's what the pro-life movement is all about: loving both the mother and the child.

Just like the apostles, people will sometimes get “infuriated” with us simply for speaking the ways of God. Do not respond harshly. Entrust them to the Lord and continue to pray for them. But, never stop speaking the truth in charity and clothed with the love of Christ.

It was my privilege to ordain 12 seminarians to the transitional diaconate today! Please join me in congratulating and praying for these new deacons who, God willing, will be ordained to the priesthood next year.

On the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, we ask for his grace to echo Mary’s “yes” to God‘s holy will even when it is difficult and challenging. May we find strength in the angel’s message to Mary: “Do not be afraid…for nothing will be impossible for God.”

As he did with the disciples on the road to Emmaus, Jesus walks with us each day. He enlightens, consoles, and guides us. Realizing we never travel alone, we are able to respond to the challenges that come our way. So, we repeat the words of the disciples: “Stay with us, Lord!”

The Gospel for Mass this Easter Wednesday is the beautiful story of two disciples on the road to Emmaus who encounter a stranger they later recognize as Jesus risen from the dead. Let us ponder this rich story as we continue our walk with the Lord during this Octave of Easter.

My hope is that the court will hold the FDA accountable for placing abortion advocacy above women’s health.

Women's health matters.

“The tragedy of the Passion brings to fulfillment our own life and the whole of human history. We can’t let Holy Week be just a kind of commemoration. It means contemplating the mystery of Jesus Christ as something which continues to work in our souls.” –St. Josemaría Escrivá

Our Lord longs to forgive our sins so we may begin anew. Consider celebrating today his divine mercy and great love for you in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. What a perfect way to prepare for Holy Week!

We can make the words of the psalmist our own: “In my distress, I called upon the Lord, and he heard my voice.” Think of how many times God has come to your rescue in your time of need. He will continue to do so. Thus: have no distress - only confidence and trust in the Lord!
