Can any historians or journalists please recommend a researcher based in Germany who can do some research of Second World War archives (so will need some basic knowledge) and translate to English? Also, I need a German book translating-can anyone recommend anyone in London? Tks!

Tears in my eyes this morning as I handed over my pram to Little Village. It served as transport and a bed for all 3 children. Still in great condition. All part of clearing our home and not putting it into landfill. Fond memories.

She didn’t know who I was, not even after prompting
She can’t move her right arm which the home isn’t sure about
She hasn’t been assessed yet by social services which is why I couldn’t get any information from them or a call back
They are due to do this in 2 weeks!

Hugs may not have the answers, but they can make us feel better. If there’s nobody around to hug, give yourself a hug. You deserve a massive hug.

Looking for ideas for next year - old house, open fire, someone to cook and clear up. No arguments about ovens not working or being accused of being a martyr for keeping up with the washing up.
