It was an honor to be invited to join the S&T College of Arts, Sciences, and Education Dean's Leadership Council!

Missouri S&T was the early launchpad for my career in science policy and it was wonderful to get the opportunity to give back to the community that shaped my initial scientific training.

One of my favorite parts of my job is helping MIT SPI (Science Policy Initiative) students organize their Congressional Visit Days!

It was great to tag along as students advocated for strong federal science funding (& we saw the partial eclipse in DC)! (photo credit: Awad Abdelhalim & Tilly Swanson)

Despite making up half the population, women are dramatically underrepresented in scientific and health research.

In Cambridge today with Jill Biden, we announced ARPA-H’s new initiative to tackle this, Sprint for Women’s Health, with a $100M investment in women’s health research.
