Saline injections likely have a role for folks who can't receive steroids for their epidurals and are used in some cases for folks with joint pain instead of a steroid when there are serious contraindication. I'd say it's not ideal, but may be what's best depending on situation

Honored to again be invited to speak at Interventional Orthobiologics Foundation Max. I’ve become very interested in this topic over the last several years. Bottom line is that PPP is likely the superior option for muscle given promotion of regeneration (and faster RTP) versus fibrosis/scarring with PRP.
