Bought on release at 14 and still obsessed with it at 58. Yes, the big hit is on there but this album offers so much more.

Favourite track: ILove You (Miss Robot).

It's pretty much perfect.

The Big Dish - Creeping Up On Jesus [1988]

Won't appear on (m)any lists, but a true favourite. Reminds me of a time when I was happiest, before regret tinged the rest of my life.

Steven Lindsay is a superb songwriter, vocalist, painter.

More guitar orientated than Homosapien. Some classic tracks on here, Telephone Operator, Many A Time..

The Dub mix cassette is great too.

Many will go for Waterpistol, but I love Zilch . Can still recall the excitement of having a new MH LP, it had been a long 3 years since Kitchen Table.

Drums are awful but songs are ace.

Favourite track: Realization.
