The club is absolutely devastated to learn of the passing of former manager, Gerry Summers, at the age of 90.

Gerry managed #Gills between October 1975 and May 1981.

Our thoughts and condolences are with Gerry's friends, family and loved ones at this difficult time.

In 1981 my dad Keith, then manager of Gillingham FC, signed 19 year old Tony Cascarino from non-league Crockenhill launching his career.

Gillingham gave Crockenhill a set of 12 tracksuits as a gesture of thanks.

My dad owns the last remaining one and he gave it to big Cas today.

Today I had to call in sick l, I slept for more than 4 hours and still feel teacher guilt. This job is exhausting

Want to write 3 positives but today was hard and findi g it hard to see the good
I had a mini panic attack and really thought I cant do this anymore
Teaching is tough and isnt the job I fell in love with.

1. I realsied today how far a student who struggled mentally has come
2. Noone added anythig to my to do list
3 Lovely well being session with sixth form

So I see Celebrity Big Brother is on. Never wathced Big Brother, but I did teach Kate Lawler
