Today in question time I took the opportunity to ask Premier Chris Minns to condemn the Federal Governments disgraceful tv commercial that demonises farmers and their communities and paints them as environmental vandals.

I had my own awards ceremony and my stand out was NSW Water Minister Rose Jackson.

This morning I continued insisting that Premier Chris Minns stand up to the Commonwealth government and deny them access to NSW irrigation communities through water buy backs.

It has been scientifically proven the Lower Lakes have always been estuarine and that's a fact.

Tomorrow Federal Water Minister Tanya Plibersek’s Water Amendment (Restoring Our Rivers) Bill goes to a vote in the Senate.

It is incumbent on the Senate to absolutely reject this Bill in all our best interests.
