Could be true for performance and career development but I'd challenge that for personal development. I've evolved the most through relationships with people as they were mirrors that reflected back the weakest parts of myself and where I needed improvement.

I realized the other day that I rarely feel safe. I don't feel safe at the gas station. I don't feel safe in packing decks. Not sure if this is a woman thing or a trauma thing or both. For that reason, I tend to fall for men who provide a sense of safety for me.

Consistency is a love language for me. It separates the opportunists from the committed.

Grateful to have friends that clap louder for me than I do for myself. Sometimes I unconsciously downplay how major my accomplishments are, and they don’t allow it. They’re always reminding me how blessed I am and how big my God is.
