Hi Stuart, They all played for the county which is equivalent to playing Ranji trophy which is the local association but franchise cricket isn’t the same. The state body needs to recognise ppl who played for the state this is not likely to happen and shouldn’t. My two cents .

how about a domestic star. Who has done well for his home state.Ipl is good and gives a lot of players financial independence, fans,success but this isn’t their space and the stadiums are leased out from the local assn and the franchise have no authority to name a stand.

Ppl what are your thoughts on the impact player??I for one think it has to go.. too much depth in the batting which gives teams the security and the freedom to go hard and hence these crazy scores. Why would I want to be a bowler in the future if this is where the game is heading
