The winner of the 2021 Chairman's Special Railway Heritage Awd, chosen by Theo Steel before his illness took him, is Cholsey & Wallingford Railway's amazing restoration of the Brunel-style train shed formerly at Maidenhead, and now at Wallingford.

What a corker!!

47105 was painted by Heritage Painting over 2 weeks starting at the end of June. How we managed to keep pictures off the internet is a miracle in this digital age!

The canopy is officially open! What an amazing afternoon with @SirPeterHendy and Tim Dunn giving enthusiastic addresses. Thanks to so many including RailwayHeritageTrust Grundon Heritage Railway Association Ian and of course our amazing volunteers!
