So much for the whole 'democracy is on the line' thing. They should amend it to 'democracy is on the line, so we must reduce diversity and inclusivity on the ballots.'

Crazy that the guys who might have to negotiate our relationships with global powers are scared of a little competition for the job.

This would be true, except that the extremes aren’t taking everyone with them on their marches to the periphery. The center is growing, and it’s on us to turn it into a movement.

Any fair presidential debate in our democracy would include all candidates who are qualified for the ballot in sufficient states to win an electoral college majority.

It’s a sham and shame that President Biden would demand their exclusion as a term of debate.

Every election cycle will continue to be “the most important election ever” if we don’t address the root causes of our broken democracy.
