Most every higher ed administration is like, “Given our commitment to working closely with key governmental stakeholders, we are aligning our key initiatives with the white nationalists.”

In keeping with our core value of transparency Hugging Face, Irene Solaiman and Yacine Jernite have put together details on almost everything we've formally written to policymakers (& their awesome staffs). 👇

She said, 'Yes please! I'm not sick. Just trying to avoid it! Those work better?' I explained that N95s seal better against the face & filter better. Her eyes lit up, she took it & said, 'Wow! I didn't know! Thank you so much.' Please do better for workers California Department of Industrial Relations California Department of Public Health

At the Starbucks drive through today, the barista was wearing a floppy blue. I had an extra packaged 3M Aura with me, so after she handed me our order, I said 'I don't know if you're sick or wear your mask all the time like us, but would you like a more protective mask?' /1

There is almost no way the large cloud companies providing massive compute services AI surveillance & data processing APIs aren't implicated in the system of 'ad targeting for death' being used to facilitate mass murder in Gaza.

This is a nightmare. And it's going to take…

Important covid clues! Researchers find that macrophages - the cells that usually scavenge and destroy viruses - are the cells most susceptible to being infected/hijacked by SARS-CoV-2, using CD209 (not ACE2) receptors. Promising target for new drugs!🤞🏽

Whenever you hear Covid is over and everything is firmly under control, remember there is no testing, data, or media coverage left. The accelerating carnage occurs ENTIRELY behind closed doors, & a firehose of soothing anti-public health propaganda keeps us from questioning it.

I am at a Boston-area ER now with a sick family member — I can confidently say whatever you’ve read about how bad the health care capacity crisis in Massachusetts is, it’s worse. No hospital beds available and 104 very sick people spilling out wherever there is spare space.

BUT ALSO, everyone behaves as if they won’t be routinely getting Covid going forward, with each episode increasing the cumulative risks of organ damage, hospitalization, LC, & death. Kids may not have Covid complications TODAY, but they have a long way to go before they graduate…

All I can think about is how we are raising the next generation of leaders to be ableist anti-public health monsters who have no compassion or concern for their fellow humans. Hope that works out for everyone.

My in-person kid, the heart patient, the one who had Fluvid over Spring Break, the one who has been getting sick every month, is exhausted. He comes home & sleeps until morning. He’s falling behind because he keeps getting sick. His *friends* call him “stupid & lazy” & me “crazy”…
