DIAMOND’s 💎 Medical 🚑 and Flight🚁 teams regularly practice their skills, ensuring they are ready at all times. The teams rehearse a casualty evacuation that allows casualties to be quickly transferred to hospital 🏥ashore if required.

DIAMOND’s 💎 highly skilled and professional Weapon Engineers maintain the ship's Weapons, Sensors and Communications to ensure DIAMOND is ready for any tasking as required.

It was great to welcome Rt Hon Grant Shapps MP Secretary of State for Defence onboard yesterday. The SofS took the opportunity to meet our fantastic Ship’s Company and talk about our recent action and ongoing mission to ensure merchant shipping can safely transit the Red Sea.

The men and women of our Armed Forces protect our nation every single day - and that includes over Christmas.

With 7,000 personnel currently deployed overseas and sacrificing time at home over Christmas to keep every British family safe.

My message to them is simple: Thank You.
