It has been a long day. Settling in to unwind with Sophie’s Choice. I’ve read the book but have always wanted to watch the movie. If you’ve read it or watched it, what did you take from it?

It’s a big world for a small puppy. First trail experience today for Jasper. It was rainy but beautiful.

When you’re trying to get work done but your puppy just wants to play.

Nights are rich in imagination and possibilities while days are a stark contrast of reality and worldly limitations. I wonder if that’s why it’s so much easier to make art at night. Good night, or good morning perhaps.

200 days of Spanish lessons in a row. A friend of mine recently claimed you can’t learn a language on Duolingo. Maybe you can’t fully but I know for sure that not starting somewhere won’t work out either.

Do people inherently have a circadian rhythm or is it a learned habit or a result of insomnia?

I should have known there would be caviats. 😂

When was the last time you had a breakthrough in your life?

My three hour hike today has really wiped me out but it was so rewarding. My friend failed to mention she had already walked for two hours today so she’s for sure feeling the pain. 😂 I came across this little guy and almost stepped on him during our walk. Good night!

I never thought I would come to think of being in my 40’s as a blessing. Is there a better age to be? It’s by far my best start of a decade in life so far.

Heading to Ottawa town to pick up a friend at arrivals and I just realized my hair looks like dry straw.

What is the most you’ve ever multitasked? I can’t believe I was able to pull off a specialist drs appointment out of town while on a business webinar and answering messages from my brother and husband. 😂 I couldn’t miss either appointment. From what I learned, it was worth it.
