CAEP will hold a National Forum on Emergency Care next month! We've invited provinces and territories, and federal health dept. As well as many experts in Emergency health care planning from across the country!

In September, Canada's emergency physicians met with the Provincial Health Minsters with an open heart and an open mind to offer our assistance in getting them out of the mess they have created.

The Ottawa 'protest' was contributory to the suicide death of a friend's daughter.

I will not discuss the details but make no mistake, they helped bring about her death.

Well let me help you out with that. As an emergency physician of longstanding, and one who has been in a leadership position of one form or another for over thirty years, this IS a CRISIS.

In a recent editorial, the Globe and Mail called for health care reform but curiously linked success to a fall in emergency department visits.

Just found out my hospitalized father-in-law was exposed to an unvaccinated health care worker last week who just tested positive for COVID-19. An already lonely patient further isolated.

Fire every single one of these unvaccinated health care workers straight to the moon.

ALL of us have had one if not all of: bad outcomes, complaints, lawsuits. But in medicine we don't like to talk about it. That's the wrong approach.
Get a friend/mentor you can talk to about this kind of thing. You will be a better and happier doctor for it.
