⁦Office of the Prime Minister - Uganda⁩ through ⁦Uganda Red Cross Society⁩ has distributed relief kits to 280 families in Bukedea and 100 families in Butalejja, In addition to the posho and beans which was delivered last week. The response is meant to help victims cope up with the disastrous situation.

In Bulambuli district, we have distributed non-food relief items to 100 households affected by floods and landslides recently.

These households are from the sub-counties of Nangaboa and Buluganya. The items provided are intended to help the affected families develop coping

📍 Kasese Disaster - 3 lives lost

A landslide occurred in Mapata village, Katooke Parish, in Bugoye Sub-County, Kasese District last evening.

3 people from the same family lost lives. The authorities identified them as Edmond Bwambaale, his wife and child.

We've learnt with sadness the sudden death of Mr. Kennedy Okuny Odoch, the Chairperson Branch Governing Borad, URCS Pader Branch.

He died this evening from Lacor Hospital. May his soul rest in peace.
