On a recent visit to UNIFIL, Maj Gen Tony McKenna, DCOS(Ops) visited 123 Inf Bn at UNP 2-45 and the two Blue Line Posts, where he met with DF Personnel, received briefings and first-hand accounts of the challenging operational environment. #UNIFIL #Peacekeeper

The casualties were triaged, stabilised and treated by DF medical personnel in the Irish Camp UNP 2-45. The 123 Inf Bn coordinated a helicopter evacuation of 1 casualty to Beirut, and transported the remainder via Armoured Ambulance and APC to Tyre

On this Good Friday, some of our personnel took time out with our fantastic Chaplain Fr. Dan MacCarthaigh CF to pray the Stations of the Cross here in Camp Shamrock.
