Remembering PC Douglas Wiggins, Police Scotland, who died on this day in 2016.

Douglas had collapsed the previous day while responding to an emergency call.

Today we remember Police Woman Catherine Phyllis Godfrey who was fatally injured in a cycling accident when she was recalled to duty on a stormy night, on 3rd May 1947, aged 31. Never forgotten. 🕯️

A suspect thought he could evade officers following running off from a stolen car. PD Chaos attended with his handler and soon disproved that theory. Finding him hiding during a search. Good boy!!
