'Having escaped the lion's den, #BruceLehrmann made the mistake of coming back for his hat,' said Justice Michael Lee, referring to the abandonment of Lehrmann's rape trial, due to juror misconduct, followed by his subsequent disastrous decision to sue for defamation.
While finding that #BruceLehrmann raped Brittany Higgins, Justice Michael Lee has pointed out that this is a civil case and his judgment is on the 'balance of probabilities' rather than 'beyond reasonable doubt' as is required in a criminal trial.
