How can anyone possibly get so triggered by that comment?! Aside from it being party tongue-in-cheek, it genuinely IS the short straw; every borderline decision will be forensically analysed with a fine-tooth comb

If they can keep hold of even one of Olise or Eze, Palace are going to be some side next season. Wharton’s a baller

Six more points from their last six games will guarantee Tottenham (at least) Europa League football for next season

Bryan Adams turns 65 this year, which means that in the summer of 69 he would have been 10 years old. What kind of parents allows a 10 year old to spend his evenings down at the drive in? I can completely understand why Jimmy wanted no part of it.

I love this. His eloquence on prejudice, racism and changing narratives is powerful, but it’s the sheer audacity - at the age of FOURTEEN!! - to say “I might be bigger than Jack Nicklaus. I might be Michael Jordan” 🤯

Reading between the lines I imagine Yasir Al-Rumayyan, SSG and leading PGA Tour sponsors have specifically asked that Rory McIlroy - as someone who sees the bigger picture - rejoins the Policy Board and that Rory himself is doing it somewhat reluctantly but for the ‘greater good’

Feel like Arne and Liverpool are very well-suited.
You might almost say he’d… FIT in seamlessly!!

On hang on, I told it wrong…

Very good point.
We (correctly) accept it’s irrelevant which club any player supports because he’s professional and will do his job to the best of his ability against whatever opposition.
Why should officials be any different?
Why ‘subconscious bias’ for them but not players?

If Klopp is replaced by Slot, will that be one of the most similarish-sounding surnames managerial handovers in Premier League history?

And many of the current leading players feel they’re underpaid and not treated fairly, bear in mind…

Most exciting league in the world!
Southampton win at Leicester tomorrow would be huge. And with the greatest of respect to probably West Brom and Norwich, it’d be fitting if the Playoff Final ended up being 3rd v 4th

As far as I can see, there is absolutely zero evidence Stuart Attwell is, or ever has been, a Luton Town fan. He’s had his integrity and professionalism called into question with seemingly no grounds whatsoever.

(And by the by, every Luton fan I know wanted a draw yesterday!)

Saw this and just felt it had to be set to this music.
(This will resonate with people of a certain generation (mine) in the UK and Aus and be totally lost on others)
I know Barry W would do a slicker job…
