The entrance to Showa Kinen Park is right in front of JR Nishi-Tachikawa Station. It takes only 40 minutes from Shinjuku. It's a large park, so it's not crowded at all on weekdays, but today was special because it's Sunday, the cherry blossoms in full bloom and sunny.
