I also recommend highly. Well reported by someone who is a true journalist, but also understands #trauma . Race, religion, gender, identity & possibly neurodivergence all play into this. She was a groomed, British child. Where’s the accountability for the systems that failed her?

When our default trauma response is 'fawn,' we often process requests as commands. We don't register we can say 'no,' no matter how nicely a request is framed-- so we wind up feeling coerced or trapped in every situation & relationship.

And the people around us have no idea.

Stalking & coercive control are crimes that are insidious and terrifying. They are patterned crimes and the abuser goes from victim to victim. We have to change this. We need these violent men to be included on the same database as sex offenders. #domesticabuse #stalking
