I also welcome PM Rishi Sunak’s major announcement on defence spending & #Ukraine support. Once again, the #UK is leading by example.

I welcome that the U.S. House of Representatives has approved a major new package of aid to #Ukraine . Ukraine is using the weapons provided by #NATO Allies to destroy Russian combat capabilities. This makes us all safer, in Europe & North America.

Defence Ministers met virtually in the #NATO – #Ukraine Council with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський to address Kyiv’s critical need for more air defences. Allies agreed to step up & provide further military support, including air defence. I expect new announcements soon.

Good meeting with #G7 foreign ministers & Dmytro Kuleba on support for #Ukraine . More defences & more ammunition are on the way. Also discussed tackling support for #Russia ’s war effort from China, DPRK & Iran. #NATO stands with Ukraine.

Spoke with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський on #Ukraine 's urgent needs & #NATO support. Delays in aid have consequences on the ground every day. So my message to Allies is clear: Send more to Ukraine. We also agreed to convene the NATO-Ukraine Council this Friday.

#Ukraine ’s battlefield needs are urgent. I thanked Mark Rutte 🇳🇱, Statsministeriet 🇩🇰 & Petr Fiala 🇨🇿 for their efforts. We agreed #NATO should have a greater role in coordinating aid over the longer term. Ukraine also needs predictable financial support for the long haul.

Good call with Klaus Iohannis on support for #Ukraine . I encourage all Allies to dig deep to provide more ammunition & air defences. #Romania is pivotal to defending #NATO ’s Eastern flank and committed to supporting Ukraine.

Glad to welcome President Alexander Stubb and congratulate him on his appointment & #Finland ’s first #NATO anniversary. We discussed the urgent need to provide support to #Ukraine , now and for the long haul.

Good meeting with President Zuzana Čaputová of our valued Ally #Slovakia . We discussed the importance of our strengthened collective defence & robust support to Ukraine. I thanked her for our close cooperation and for Slovakia's contributions to #NATO over the last 20 years.

Good meeting with Chairman of the Presidency Becirovic of our partner Bosnia-Herzegovina to increase cooperation. #NATO strongly supports your sovereignty & territorial integrity. All political leaders must work together to preserve unity & safeguard national institutions.

Today marks 75 years since the founding of #NATO —the strongest & most successful alliance in history. Foreign Ministers met to address #Ukraine ’s urgent & long-term needs; we must step up even more. We also discussed deepening cooperation with our Indo-Pacific partners. 🇦🇺🇯🇵🇳🇿🇰🇷
