10 years later, she's opening her 2024 campaign in China again -- her first race back since a hamstring tear last summer.

Some interesting matchups at this event.

In a road 800 (yes, road 800), world outdoor champ Marco Arop is facing world indoor champ Bryce Hoppel.

And Hobbs Kessler is racing Emmanuel Wanyonyi in the road mile. A bit early for US fans but worth checking out the YouTube replay.

On a USATF board meeting today it was mentioned that USATF is negotiating with World Athletics to see if USATF’s security concerns around the U20 World Championships can be addressed satisfactorily, we may end up sending a U20 team after all.

$30 million is an impressive amount to raise for professional track & field. Very interested to see what MJ & co. do with it.

The article says more details (and the name of the league) will be coming in June.

Pretty cool when a messageboard poster can start a thread on LetsRun asking for information on Emile Cairess's buildup before his 2:06:46 at the London Marathon...and Cairess's coach Renato Canova responds by posting Cairess's entire buildup.

What a thrill it was to wake up and see 41-year-old Kenenisa Bekele, 20 years after his first Olympic gold, pushing the pace in the final miles of the London Marathon.

After leading through 24 miles, Kenenisa Bekele ran 2:04:15 to finish 2nd at the 2024 London Marathon and break his own masters WR.

Did the 41-year-old legend do enough to make Ethiopia's Olympic team?

Very solid 2024 outdoor opener for Josh Kerr, who runs 1:45.94 to win the 800 (52.50-53.44) at the Oregon Relays by more than a second.

2021 Olympic 200m silver medalist Christine Mboma, competing for the first time since August 2022, runs 12.32 and finishes last in the women's 100 at the Kip Keino Classic in Nairobi.

Her first race since lowering her testosterone levels to comply with WA's DSD regulations.
