Dr Conservative Mama A) No gravy train. Educators aren’t paid enough & Nebraska schools are underfunded.
B) This isn’t about choice. In Arkansas 95% of those receiving vouchers were already in private schools
C) it’s not competition. Private won’t accept everyone & don’t have the same accountability.

Parents choosing to eliminate parent choice in school availability is something. If you want a charter school go try to start one. Don’t work to eliminate the public school (and jobs) for your neighbors.

At Newberry Elementary, parents vote for conversion but teacher vote fails by one vote. Expect the Florida Legislature to bring back language to eliminate teacher participation in future conversion votes. Such language was proposed this past session.

National media wasn’t even on this story. But I just looked where they told me to look.

The only reason I thought about this was that when I woke up this morning, one of them had texted me this:
