This is heartbreaking. “If you’re not going to produce the thing, it should revert back to the people who made it rather than just sitting locked away forever,” is one of those things that feels like it should be plain common sense but so often fails to be in creative industries.

I'm having a hard time letting go of the passion project a studio bought, had me write, and then decided not to make. I don't own it anymore and can't afford to buy it back. It's just so cruel the way studios and execs don't care about people's art. There has to be a better way.

The Night Comes For Us gives us so many great moments but the introduction to Iko’s character is possibly my favorite in recent memory with brutal choreography combined with Timo’s camera work and a great score. 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
