Inspired by the London marathon I decided to run up to Lake Windermere for a few days stay and with the clouds drifting away it should be a nice little break.

I’ve often thought if Festival wouldn’t suit those thinking of going to CheltenhamRacecourse for the first time, whether it be crowd/cost etc, the April 2 day meeting is ideal. The cards for tomorrow and Thursday are excellent and should be a great introduction for such newcomers.
